This non-profit organization was formed to take care of babies who are abandoned at birth. Unfortunately, in most cases this consisted in making funeral arrangements for unnamed infants. Through their perseverance, they were chiefly responsible for passing a law making it legal to leave a baby within the first 72 hours at hospitals, fire stations and police departments without any charges of abandonment toward the parents. To create a recognizable identity, footprints from a birth certificate were used to form the icon for the symbol of love. Occasionally designers strive to be able to do something to make a difference and we know this was one of those times.
